Diagnosis and Treatment of Physical and Mental Conditions
- Most medical problems can be diagnosed and treated by Dr. Carpenter and our physician assistants.
- Some conditions might require a referral to a specialist for diagnosis or treatment. Depending on the situation, this may be a one-time referral for a particular diagnostic exam or treatment, or it may be an ongoing referral for management of a complicated or unusual condition. Each situation is different, and your preferences will be a major factor in your referral.
- Dr. Carpenter and the physician assistants will work together to provide you the best medical care possible.
Laboratory Testing
Minor Skin Biopsies
- EKG’s, when needed, can be performed in our office.
- Blood and Urine samples, when needed, can be collected at our office or at an independent lab.
- X-Ray and Mammography tests, when needed, will be obtained at an independent Radiology office.
The Laboratory at the Humble Family Practice provides a full range of testing services and is certified by the Centers for Medicare and Medicaid Services.
Hours of laboratory operation are Monday through Friday, from 8:00 am. to 5:00 pm. You can reach us during business hours at 281-446-1014.
If you are coming for cholesterol or diabetes (sugar) tests, please do not eat or drink anything except water after midnight.
Please be aware that some services might not be covered by your particular insurance plan.
